Traditional Block Style Batteries
One of the most common battery formats manufactured by Military Batteries Australia are traditional block style batteries. These are custom manufactured in any size / dimensions as per the specifications provided by our customers. They are manufactured for critical power back up (UPS) applications especially in hazardous location applications where both lead acid and consumer use commonly available but potentially a “fire hazard” lithium batteries are prohibited from use.
Rack Mount Batteries
Military Batteries Australia specialises is the design and local Australian manufacture of rack mount batteries. These batteries are made in many different sizes from as small as 1RU (44mm) high in varying depths up to 600mm deep to fit all industry standard 19-inch rack mounting cabinets. Rack mount battery users are forced to purchase off the shelf mass produced batteries which may not be ideal in their design or features. Military Batteries Australia manufacture rack mount batteries to exactly meet the customers requirements.
Portable Field Case Batteries
Military Batteries Australia manufactures to order many different portable batteries, mostly used by government departments, which are used for a variety of applications where power is required out in the field. These portable batteries are usually manufactured in Pelican or Seahorse cases so they are weather resistant and are suitable for use outdoors in all weather conditions including heavy rain. These battery cases can be either a battery with BMS alone or can be manufactured as an integrated battery case solution installed with numerous electronics options such as GPS, remote monitoring, inbuilt solar charger, modems and several other options as per the design specification provided by the customer.
